Hillworth Park Yoga is Back for The Summer

Park Yoga is back in Hillworth Park for the summer season. The sessions last an hour, starting at 9.30am, and run every Sunday morning from May the 3rd through to September the 13th. If you've not experienced Park Yoga, it's a great way to try yoga for the first time. You don't have to take part in the whole session, many people take moments of rest, and enjoy the fresh air, while watching the clouds go by. There's no need to book, just go along. Take a yoga mat if you have one, but if you don't, a towel or blanket will do.

September Boat Trips on The Kennet and Avon Canal

Boat trips are taking place on The Kennet and Avon Canal during September, on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, all departing from The Wharf. Booking in advance is recommended through katrust.org.uk. The Wednesday trips are a three lock experience to The Black Horse and return, with the Saturday and Sunday trips to Devizes Marina and return. Relax and watch the world go by, while enjoying drinks and snacks from the licensed galley. Pushchairs and buggies can be stored in the boat shed while you're on the trip. Prices range from £6 for children to £11 for adults, with family tickets available.

Fantasy Now Available on DAB Radio

Fantasy Radio is now available on DAB Digital Radio across West Wiltshire. Don't worry, the FM signal's not going anywhere, but you can now take us with you on your travels across an even bigger chunk of the county. Just rescan your DAB+ radio, find us in the station list, and be sure to save us as a preset. Fantasy Radio is All About Devizes, on 97FM, online, via the Radioplayer app, and now on DAB Digital Radio across West Wiltshire. Please note that your radio must be to the new, DAB+ standard.

Bromham Wedding Fair Needs Businesses

A Wedding Fair is being held in The Community Hub, New Road, Bromham, on Sunday the 15th of November. They would love local businesses to be involved and have a stall at the event. If you'd like to be involved, further information, and booking details, are available through bromhamhub.org.

The First Devizes Scouts Need Stall Holders

A Christmas Fete is taking place between 1 o'clock and 5 o'clock, on the afternoon of Saturday the 21st of November, at The First Devizes Scout Hall in Southbroom Road. They're looking for stall holders for the event, at just £10 per space. It'll be an ideal opportunity to sell your gifts, crafts, treats, or other goodies, in the run up to Christmas. Major Road Closure on A361 in Seend

A major road closure is taking place on the A361 in Seend, from Monday the 28th of September, for eight weeks, until Friday the 20th of November. This is to enable Wessex Water to replace water mains. The A361, High Street and Seend Hill, and the top of Inmarsh Lane will be closed from the junction with Spout Lane to outside Hill Farm House. A diversion for through traffic will be via Melksham, with the Inmarsh Lane diversion via the remainder of Inmarsh Lane and Bell Hill.

Christmas Craft Fair Needs Stall Holders

On Sunday the 6th of December, between 9am and 2pm, there's a Christmas Craft Fair at The Literary Club in Northgate Street. They're looking for stall holders for a variety of handmade crafts and gifts, at £10 for a pitch of approximately six foot.
