First Saturday Each Month Wiltshire Farmers Market

On the first Saturday of the month it's the Wiltshire Farmers Market. It takes place in the Market Square, Devizes from 9am 'til 1pm with local artisan food, crafts and top quality goods available to purchase directly from the producers.

To 22 Apr 18 Exhibition: The Winds and Words of War

EXHIBITION: The Winds and Words of War. WWI Posters and Prints from the San Antonio Public Library Collection.

This evocative exhibition of First World War American propaganda posters is on a two year tour of Europe and will be in Devizes until the 22nd of April 2018. Wiltshire Museum here in Devizes is the only UK venue.

Thu 25 Jan Devizes Men's Shed Open Morning

The Devizes Men’s Shed is holding an Open Morning on Thursday January 25th at the Barn, Needham House, Victoria Road, Devizes between 10am and 12 Noon.

If you are interested in finding out more of what a Men’s Shed is all about and what the team at Devizes Men’s Shed are planning then please do come and talk to them at this Open Morning. 

The Shed workshop is situated in the Barn, a small building within the gardens of Needham House, Victoria Road, and visitors will be able to gain access to the Open Morning event via the wooden side gate of Needham House (to the right of the Car Park) between the hours of 10a.m. and 12noon on Thursday 25th January, when members of the committee will be there to meet you.

Sat 27 Jan Under 16s Disco

The Exchange Night Club opens its doors to under 16s on Saturday the 27th of January. Admission is just £5 to include free drinks all night long. Doors open at 7pm 'til 9pm, for 11 to 15 year olds.

Sat 10 Feb Lavington Guides Cake Sale

1st West Lavington Guides are holding a cake and produce sale to raise money for club funds. They will be selling home made cakes and goodies from 8.45 'til - 11.30 am, outside the Co-op in Market Lavington High Street, on Saturday the 10th of February.

Sat 10 Feb Time Machine (1)

The Mobile Museum is bringing a collection of fossils to Melksham Library so you can find out what Wiltshire looked like millions of years ago. Learn how fossils are made and what they tell us about evolution. Apart from one or two very fragile fossils, you will be able to handle them, and if you have your own fossils and rocks, help will be on hand to identify them.

This session is aimed at younger children. It is free to attend and there is no need to book. Just drop in between 11am and 1pm on Saturday the 10th of February at the Melksham Library. A fun activity and learning experience for children and adults.

16-17 Feb Bouncers

The Wharf Theatre presents John Godber's hilarious comedy 'Bouncers' on Friday the 16th and Saturday the 17th of February. It's a 1980s nightclub, bouncers played by girls, stag nights and hen dos. Tickets are £12.

Sat 17 Feb Battle Of The Bands

On Saturday the 17th of February, the R&B Bar at The Sports Club in Devizes will host the Saddleback Acoustic Acts 'Battle Of The Bands'. Free entry, doors open at 8pm, and the acts taking part will be Tom & Clair, Jamie R Hawkins, Tamsin Quinn, Kirsty Clinch, Jack Moore, George Wilding and Sally Dobson.

Sat 24 Feb The Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience

The Ultimate Garth Brooks Experience comes to Bromham on Saturday the 24th of February. As the only authentic Garth Brooks tribute anywhere in Europe, Blame It All On My Roots offers a unique and rare opportunity to experience the music of one of the world’s most prolific and prestigious country artists.

Grab your Stetson, pull on your boots!

Sat 3 Mar Charity Dinner Dance

Saturday the 3rd of March sees the Mayor's Charity Dinner Dance at the Town Hall. Doors open at 7pm wuth a glass of Pimms or Prosecco on arrival, enjoy a three-course dinner and dance to the E.L. Jazz Band!

Tivkets are £35 per person for tables of up to 10. There will be a licensed bar, and proceeds go to Alzheimer's Support, SSAFA and Wiltshire Mind. Dress code is blazers & boaters, cocktail dresses, black tie.

9-17 Mar Goodnight Mister Tom

Michelle Magorian's delightful novel for children about the experiences of a young boy evacuated to the country during World War Two has been through a number of incarnations. Most notably the TV film starring John Thaw, but the stage version by David Wood now comes to The Wharf Theatre.

Tickers are £12 from the box office and it runs from Friday the 9th to Saturday the 17th of March at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm Matinee on Saturday the 10th.

Sat 24 Mar Jumble Sale

There's set to be a jumble sale on Saturday the 24th of March with clothes, children's toys, household items, bric a brac and more. It takes place over in Worton in the village hall from 2 'til 4pm, with all proceeds going towards village hall funds.
